Book Review: Several books were reviewed and added to our collection.  Several Veggie Tales DVDs were donated as well.
Librarian’s Report:  Although not present, Jo Anne did submit the proposed budget for 2010.  A motion to accept the proposed budget was made by Pastor Jami and seconded by Trish.  Key to approving this year’s budget is the insistence that we spend the allotted money ($106.50) for new books/DVDs to keep our collection current.

This includes $481.50 from the Heintzelman account, $6.27 savings interest and $33.48 CD interest.
Book Club: The book club met on two dates this month, with Sunday at 9:15AM being the popular choice.  The next meeting of the club is March 7th at 9:15AM.
Continuing Business:
- The dissolution of the Heintzelman Trust is nearing completion.  Once it is complete the Stewardship committee will monitor the assets which will be held at Smith Barney.  They will be held and monitored for 18 months unless a 20% increase in value is seen prior to that time.  We have requested copies of all statements as they are received by Stewardship committee.
-Bookcase replacement/ repair: On hold until Ben’s schedule permits the time commitment that this will entail.
New Business: 2010 Goals:
Work with Eagle Scout to begin replacement/repair of library bookcases
Continue to build the collection in all areas
Update VHS tapes to DVDs
Continue to encourage Sunday School students and teachers to use the library
Continue Book Club discussions
Continue BookFest
Look for ways to help members and guests in keeping with our mission
Pastor Jami reports funds have been received in memory of Laura Brunner.  We will discuss how those funds will be utilized at our next meeting.  By that time, the exact amount should be known.
It was suggested that another BookFest be held in May.  This will allow folks to store up for summer reading.  Members will be polled for interest and availability on the proposed date, May 16th.
