Continuing Business:

- The transfer of the assets of the Heintzelman Trust to an account at Smith Barney is nearing completion.

-Bookcase replacement/ repair: On March 18th a meeting was held with Ben Gillikin, his parents, Jo Anne and Lee Cryer and Karin Jagiela to discuss Ben’s Eagle project.  The next step is Ben’s completion of a Project Plan.  A rough estimate of the cost is $1500.  Ben would like to know how much money the library can contribute so he can plan the amount of fundraising needed on his part.  Those present at tonight’s meeting would like to utilize a good portion of the donations given in memory of Laura Brunner for this project.  We would also like to place book shelves on the Memorial Gifts list.  The cost per bookshelf would be $30 with five shelves per bookcase.  It was also recognized that Property Committee needs to be made aware of the pending replacement of the shelves.

A discussion about funding will resume next meeting when, hopefully, more members are present.

It was decided to remove “Books” from the wish list.

New Business:

BookFest 2010 will be held on May 16th with the actual site to be determined.  Our preferred site is the FLC, but if it is not available the classrooms used last fall worked nicely too.  Time is 9-10:30AM and 11:45-12:30PM.  Drop off will be in the library the week of the May 9th.  Set-up is May 15th , 9:00-12:00PM.

Laura Brunner donations- Decisions about how to spend these donations will be made next meeting.  Possible uses suggested: bookcases, DVDs, healthy living and cancer books.

Next Meeting: May 13, 2010

6:30 book review, 7:00 meeting
