Yams – 358 delivered to Food Bank on 3/19

468 lbs. of food collected last month

Currently taking clothing donations

SHUT IN/CARE GROUP:

2 thank you’s received for Easter Baskets

PARISH NURSING

Some discussion on finding an affordable exercise class to offer

Daffodil Sunday a success – all 50 bunches ordered were sold

OUT REACH PROJECTS:

Health Care Kits – enough supplies collected for approx. 12 kits

Discussion on trying this again in Fall

Baby Bundles – display in narthex.  Will continue into May

DISASTER RELIEF TRIP:

Very successful.  Thank you from one of the families helped was read in church by Pastor Moore

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY:

Going well.  Need more bags

NEW BUSINESS:

CARD MINISTRY:

Kandy Lang joined us to explain she has taken over the card ministry.  Will send cards to shut-ins, hospitalized, special occasions etc.  She has supplies of her own currently but might need things in the future.  Suggested she write an article for newsletter explaining this ministry and requesting specific donations.  Social ministry will help with stamps and envelopes.
