Stephens Ministry is a complete system for training and organizing lay people to provide one-to-one Christian care to hurting people in and around your congregation.  It provides congregations with the structure, training, and resources to set up and administer a complete system for lay caring ministry (called Stephen Ministry) in the congregation for the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge.

How can I get involved? On Thursday, July 22nd at 7:00 PM in Room 201 we are pleased to have Pastor Erika Wesch from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Doylestown with us for an informal session.  St. Paul’s currently uses the Stephens Ministry program successfully and Pastor Wesch will be able to share their experiences and answer any questions you may have.  Again, there is no commitment required at this point.  If you are interested in learning more about Stephens Ministry, please plan to attend this meeting.  Please RSVP to the church office by emailing us at office@unionlutheranchurch.org or by calling us at 610-767-6884.
